1996 Nissan 200sx Problem

Does it affect fuel mileage? The car does have 172k miles I'm guessing it can have a low compression on cylinder one. It already have new spark plugs, wire, cap and rotor.

Check the cam position sensor. It sounds like the ECM isn't getting a correct reading somewhere.

Does it still Idle rough? Do a compression test, if it has good compression then you may have a bad injector. Good luck

Oh and yes it does affect fuel mileage

It idles fine during a cold start up and regular idling. But when it's put into Drive the idle get a little rough. But it drives fine and the fuel mileage is pretty decent for the miles it has on the motor.
