Ordered a repair kit from Auto Zone. P/N 66373 ~~~ square o ring is very tight on the piston and has to be stretched to fit on it. . However, the OD is too small dia to seat in the caliper thus twists and does not allow the piston to enter and seat. Actually cut the ring attempting to insert the piston.

Ordered a kit from Advance Auto. P/N 15156 ~~~ Square o ring is too big for the piston and does not grip it. The OD is too big to fit inside the caliper.

Thought it might be a previous year so did parts check from 94 ~ 97 Same parts numbers.

So looked for caliper in salvage yard but nothing available. Looking like I have to settle for a new one/rebuilt unless someone here has had luck with correct repair kit.

Problem solved. NAPA had them. Did not like the price but also did not like seeing the car sitting in the driveway on jacks.
