When I removed the crankshaft pulley, I noticed the power steering pulley is keyed to turn with the crankshaft but the AC and Alternator pulley is fairly free wheeling. Is this a clutch type pulley setup, that is, the free wheeling pulleys lock up when the engine is running. Is this normal??

further inspection shows the timing mark is on the inner pulley that turns the ALT & PS Belts. That pulley is free to turn even with the crank bolt torqued.

with it free to turn, there is no way I can line up the bottom crankshaft mark and know for sure everything is completely lined up.

A search on parts sellers showing no new ones available. Don't even want to think about dealer prices.

took the pulley to the engine rebuild shop. No sooner put it on the bench and the owner told me it was done. Came home did a search on line and auto parts retailers, local salvage yards, Nissan dealer. There are none to be had. Not even from dealer.

Infinity part number 12303-10Y00 is what I need.

So if any of you Infinity DYI' ers out there know of a local yard in your area and care to do a phone call for availability, I would greatly appreciate it.

I think there might be a crossmatch with a Nissan car or truck using the same engine code but I don't know how to access that lookup.

VIN JNKAY21DOTM302524

Thank you.

Bummer you did not get to read this post earlier. I waited a week with no replies. So with no choices left, I shipped the pulley to California. Shipping both ways total cost 230 bucks. Oh well, Coming tomorrow but won't get installed for three weeks when I return home. Beggars can't be choosers.

I figured out why I missed this, new topics that I have not replied to do not notify me, not only that, I was busy prepping for a race over July 4th weekend.

1500 miles and the repaired crankshaft pulley has separated again. Repair shop said send it out and he will try and repair it again. Not sure I want to go that route again.

So J30tChumpCar if you still have a pulley available, can you please make contact with me
