broke the timing belt on my '93 convertible and I have a chance to pick up a running '90 3.0 for a $150 which by itself is a good deal, it looks like the heads are the same but I'm not certain... Anyone know for sure? I'm thinking it would be easier to replace the heads, timing belt, etc. than do a whole motor swap? I also have a good '96 3.0 but if possible would rather save that for a TT build next winter. Any thoughts?

Removing the heads in the car is a PITA! A complete motor swap is actually easier. These cars have very little room to work in.
