This is an impressive sale price for one that's about as mint as I've seen. TCS/Slip light is on, and I'm sure it has original timing guides.

wow!
nice to see some appreciation (figurative and literal) for the G50 platform. And that one is not quite 30 years old yet!
Time capsule pieces are always quite interesting.
I never knew about this foam piece forward of the splash shield before:

Is that a zenki thing? Or was it just missing on both my kouki's by the time I acquired them (note I did and still do have the radiator side surrounds).
I'm also guessing the louvered section of the lower front bumper cover was put there for the active cars (one cover for all G50 early variants)?

What looks like foam is just the back side of the "mouth" on the lower side of the bumper cover. Mine has the openings on the left side for the active suspension, but only the active cars got the vented wheel well trim, and of course the cooler and other ducting.

I saw that also. Very impressive sale. The new owner would be very wise to replaced the timing chain guides so he doesn’t go through the fiasco I went through. Better protect his investment

Love it! :yesnod
If I had known of this auction I would have certainly been a bidder.
Though I probably would have dropped out prior to 27,000 (though probably not by as much prior to 27k, as I could rationally justify, car belongs in a museum).
