Hi, I have a 1990 300zx TT which I recently had modified by Z1 motorsports. They mainly did engine work but I did have the ECU custom Tuned on the dyno. I just got her back about 2 months ago. She ran great. I do not drive her everyday, but I did start her up everyday. When I got the car back I noticed that the alarm and turbo timer did not work. After a few weeks, the alarm and turbo timer just started working and when that happened, now the car will not start. I thought it might be the fuel pump, so I took it out and gave current to the motor and it worked fine. I also took out one spark plug to see if I was getting a spark. No spark and I cant smell fuel either. I'm thinking this has something to do with the alarm system but honestly i'm stumped now. If someone can please help me, I will greatly appreciate it. Thank you very much.

Do you have power to the ECU? And I'm assuming it cranks just fine, just no spark/fuel correct?

In this case where a specialist has done specialty work to your car, I'd under no circumstances try repairing this issue due to not knowing what they did and how, and return it to tZ1 for warranty work specific to that known problem when you took the car back, plus obviously the eventual problem you now have.
Since it's all related obviously to the work done they should have no problem with that, and Z1 seems to try to be very upstanding when possible.
Hope this helps!

It cranks fine, I spoke to Z1, they think it might be the PTU or Crank position sensor. I ordered a new PTU. I'll install it when I get it and let you guys know if that was the problem. If not, I'm going to have to get the Crank sensor. If none of these gets the job done then I will have to ship the car back to Z1 which is a pain in the arse because I live in NY.

So did the PTU fix it?
