Glad it helped.I haven't driven it for a week because it needs a timing belt.I expect to 'git er dun' next week.I prefer the black instead of the chrome as well. Thanks for the encouragement.I need to finish it so I can sell it.

Pathfinder seats are a bolt in.And I have a set of gray ones from a 94 I need to get rid of.The bed was from a std cab 2wd as far as I know.I don't believe it protrudes more than normal.Maybe the flairs make it appear so.The SHO's are fun, I'll always have several around.

Where did you get the gauge cluster with a tach at? The clock and trip odometer would be nice as well.

I honestly don't remember where or how I got it.It is a hot ticket to upgrade to.Everything plugs right in and works, except the tach.I haven't found the time to research it yet.

Get those pics posted.I spent the last three days at a freinds shop.I installed a new timing chain and guides. The chain and sprockets were fine as well as the tensioner. However, the tensioner guide was a bit worn. And the other guide was found as broken bits in the oil pan.Sorry no pics as I was pressed for time and really greasy.I then installed my PS system but found I need the box to column coupler. The person I bought the system from failed to include it.So back on with the manual box. Then I found I needed a starter when I tried to leave. All in all though it went well. And since the radiator needed to come out, I installed the larger one for AC cars.

theres the spring loaded visor mount im working on above. they interlock with spring but the alumi couldnt suporrt the weight of the alumi visor i made so ill have to make that part out of steel. or better find OE visors

this is my domelight cover it fits directly over what was left of the OE i drilled and taped the OE screws for my newer smaller ones and put small piece of plexiglass in the froun and thats a milti-color LED dome light haha (id rather have just white or blue but thats the olny color it comes in.)

thats my window latch (impossible to find)

this is idk? a vent? i want to put infinity 4x6 speekers there. do you know what its for?

over sized rearview for safly cutting people off haha i dont want to but here in california they make me do it

there my *****, with a black eye she looks pretty decent and ill get more and better pics after this weekend i took theres with my fone hopfully i find time to get to that that disman place too i really want a map light.

i went to the disman place on saturday and really scored.

i got the back carpet and bezzle piece and side mirrors switch(not pictured)even thoe i dont have power mirrors there was a hole there so i bought it to fill the hole. headliner maplight and braket. visores, windshield side moldings with tweeters(clarion) i scored again there cuz they didnt know the stock tweeters where replaced. steering wheel(mine is disentagrating)emblem they gave me for free that is getting painted everything for $226.00

heres the donoreverything cept the carpet came out of this. they said they never seen anyone thake the headliner from the pathy but it comes out in two pecies. think i will have to cut it?? or make some kind of molding.

fenders and bumper where gonna b next but i had to jump on thoes interior peices they had just got that pathy in and i wanted first dibs haha

you still working on urs? or are you on to a new project?

Nothing like getting what you need. The Pathfinder headliner fits but you will need to fab a trim piece at the rear.I am using a headliner from a 94-95 Hardbody as it's molded for the rear.I installed the remaining parts for the power steering today.I had to make a trip to get the intermediate shaft for the steering. It came from the Pathfinder I stripped.I also installed the Pathfinder tilt column. Now I have power steering and tilt.In order to use my current steering wheel, I'll need to swap more items on the end of the column.Mainly the round contact unit for the horn.I'll get pics soon.

nice i like pics. did you have to change the rack out for your steering or is that a pretty easy mod? my truck is the base model too. i was raised in AZ but i live in Ca so the no AC dosent really bother me i like the MPG too all thoe i do miss the PS somtimes but have goten used to it. have you ever had your tuck dynoed? i wounder how much more power you get w/o PS AC? my truck has 192XXX mi and i ve changed the valve cover seal but didnt know of the time chain probs at that time. when you changed yours did your motor sound diffrent?

For the PS you'll need the reservour, pump with mounts, steering box with pitman arm, 3 lines and the fan belt. The crank pully has 3 sections for alt, PS and AC.You may also need the steering column and or the intermediate shaft.Nissan says the 2.4 is good for 134 hp and 154 tq.Since the timing chain was replaced there is no rattle at start up.The missing guide allowed slack in the chain, thus the rattle.I had to replace the contact housing on the wheel side of the column. This allowed me to retain my early style wheel. And the column cover needs to be modified for the tilt lever.I'm using a 94 Pathfinder column and the cover and wheel are a different style. The tilt cover I thought would fit doesn't.The ignition switch is in a different location. My original cover is on the right, the tilt unit on the left.

Mine came from a .... well I don't remember. My color is taupe and was available from 1986 thru 1992, to the best of my knowledge.I do have a set of gray door panels I need to sell as well as the seats.I got parts from many Pathfinders and Hardbodys.I'm at the point where I'm almost done and will need to get rid of my overstock.

None of the wiring is easy or plug and play.I had to tap off a hot curcuit on the fuse panel, and add terminals in the fuse panel. If you attempt this, use a donor of the same year as your truck.I ran into unusual differences you'd never imagine. The locks are the same way, you need to tap off the fuse box for an always on circuit. And be sure you get the module located under the drivers seat (trucks) or in the rear (Pathfinder).

Happy new year guys! i made some good progress over vacation map lights visors and headliner wired them in to my dome light circuitnew trim w tweeters i havent wired the tweeters yet and would like some advise about it idk some people say you need a crossover i thought i could get away with wiring them to my headunit (sony xplod50x4) with just some bass blockers from radio shack. im only running two sony xplod 6 1/2 right nownew steering wheel i kept my grey insert. notice shaved turn signal lever. dont ask. on a side note the lil screw for the center insert IS VERY important. ill be making a new lever out of carbon fiber tube from the hobbie shop cuz i dont feel like droping $200 yet and theres enough left of the switch to still make it work.new headliner now i just need a few more trim pieces if any one has any let me know.i took these off to drill a tiny hole in what was left of my lever and found this freakin weight?? why can i take it out? dose it just hold the cover in place or what?glory shot. daddys shop in AZnew parts idler center/transvers linkthe new center link (moog) came with a steering stabalizer perch but where do i mount the other end to? and then the piec that the lower arm connect to in the pic above ( idk what its called) i was thinking about milling that out of aircraft alumi? what do you think?old idler armold centerlinkall input is appreciated thanks guys

Thanks for sharing, you have been busy.I wired my visors and center light to the dome circuit as well.I have the tweeters and trim as well but decided against using them.I will be adding grab handles instead. My headliner was the same way in the back, that's why I updated to the 93-95 style. The tilt wheel I have from a 94 Pathfinder has the same weight.I figured it was a counter weight to help when tilting it lower.Next on my list is a center link, Napa $84.I noticed it was bad when installing my PS system.

If you still have those panels (and the other guy doesn't take them) I might interested in them in a few weeks. Have to save up some $$$, I just bought a 93 4WD King Cab to complete the collection. I would still be interested in the panels though, I have taupe ones from a 92 but the color just doesn't match the way I would like. They are more of a brownish gray. Won't work without paint. How much would you let those go for?

Any one else waiting for warmer weather? We've had some 50-60 degree days here but I had other things to do.I'd like to finish the Nissan so I can sell it.I'll be selling my used parts too.I have a complete 94-95 style dash, complete with brackets and gages.I'll be installing a replacement motor and trans in my Ranger soon. That way I can use it after the Nissan is sold. Then I can change to the SHO motor and 5 speed at my leisure.
