it could be a variety of things. Make sure that nothing in the engine bay is sticking out far enough for the hood to hit it when it closes. Ive had and seen this issue before were my BOVs and strut brace would stick out JUUUUSt a couple of millimeters and cause my hood to be raised on the passenger side. If thats the case, try repositioning aftermarket parts that you think are getting in the way (stock engine bay wouldnt cause this i dont think)

--There is no aftermarket parts but thank you...

--Seems as if my Hood latch is the see Saw point under hood.. Also I have read a form on hood adjustment..

Here is the latch and the three 12 mm bolts that need to be removed. The holes through which the bolts pass need to be enlarged. The two upper holes are on the latch itself.

--Evil ,, I need your help tho evil.. My new Z seems like it isn't getting enough air/gas, I have clean an replaced AIV FIAV, COIL PACKS, I have checked each plug an all are working,, -But when I unplug #2 an #3 an the engine rev the same... It has a little miss to it an I can't pinpoint it... -Next thing I will do is take off CAS an check injectors an Coils by turning post. Then trying to check Timing by using an old spark plug wire off a Sunfure..... I need to buy a fuel pressure gauge an a in line adapter... I appreciate any comments... My bad for mixing posts but I know that if any one on here knows what to do it will be EVL..U tha Man... http://zclub.nicoclub.com/zerothread/473127

I think you have pin pointed your issue there, you have narrowed down the cylinders of issue, now you need to determine why. Your best bet would be to remove the injector connectors to test each injector with an ohm meter. The injectors should read between 11-14 ohms, if they are higher/lower, plan to replace them.

On the hood issue, look under the car to see if it has ever been unproperly jacked up by the core support. This is a common issue that results in lifting the upper and lower core support and the hood will no longer fully close.

BOV's are blow off valves to relieve turbo boost pressure between shifts, not an issue on normally aspirated Z's.

Hope this helps,Tim
