So this just started happening the other day, and I have no idea whats going. When I put the clutch in and turn the key, there is no "half on" section like there used to be where I could turn the key and roll up and windows and stuff without starting the car. If I turn the key slightly passed where that position should be, I can do those things, but I have to hold the key half turned. When I try to start the car, nothing happens, almost like I have a dead battery. I do not have a dead battery though, because all the lights and everything works, and there is no sign of voltage drain while turning the key. I hold the key turned in the start position, and after five or six seconds, it will either try to turn over, or just click. I have to turn it back and try again over and over. Sometimes it will start for a second and then die again. I have to get it to start and then rev it pretty high to keep it from dying and I have no idea why. It's like the battery is dead, but not at the same time. I have checked the terminals and they seem fine as well. Any ideas?

!!!SOLVED!!!

After disassembling the steering column cover, I found that this little brown piece with all of the ignition wiring in it was not in all the way. I would turn the key all the way, and nothing would happen, then I would push the little plastic piece into the ignition and it would start. SO I electric taped it cus I'm not sure what broke causing it to hang like that. Thanks for the help.
