Need Help From Technician

To the point: Starting the truck turns over and idles.... I can rev the engine no problems or hesitation at idle only!..... As soon as I put it in to gear and try to take off it will backfire in the tbi (5 speed) when I give it gas when at a low rpm it will pop (backfire) in the tbi. Cant drive it too much hesitation, but listening to the exhaust sounds amost at times its sucking air in and out. (sputtering) Please help

Try checking the anti-backfire valve (AB valve) vacuum lines and hose clamps, maybe replace them, check valve operation, etc. It's located near the firewall passenger side under the air cleaner, has one big hose, one little hose. It's kind of a btich to get the hose on all the way sometimes when you remove the air cleaner.
