I already posted this in another section but realized it was the wrong one. Oops anyway, here's the deal:

First, my clutch has a way of losing pressure. Usually happens when I either haven't driven for a few hours or I've been in fifth gear for a while. I go to use it and there's little/no pressure and it doesn't come all the way up. If I lift it and pump it for a while it gets pressure back eventually, but it's still just a temp fix. I'm pretty sure right now it's only coming up halfway either way. I've been checking the clutch fluid and there's no leak, so I'm assuming my master cylinder's probably going out, but I'm not 100%

Second, my reverse is out. I took a trip out of town a couple weeks ago and when I made it to town my clutch completely lost pressure. So I'm stopped dead in traffic because I can't shift from neutral. After a while I finally got some pressure and I was able to go but I heard the gears scratch a few times. Sounded kinda bad. Now I can't shift into reverse. The shifter just doesn't go into that gear. I'm hoping my transmission isn't failing.

I was just wondering if someone could help out, maybe suggest a possible fix. I'm not too car savvy so bear with me.

Thanks.

If you're not too car savvy, I would definitely recommend taking it in and having a professional look at it. Transmissions are touchy beasts. If you don;t know what you're doing, you will probably do more harm than good.
