okay i found a amazing deal the other day on a shiro, but when i took it out for a drive i noticed a pop in the area of the rear end when shifting in the upper rpm ranges. now i know a little bout the shiros and i know that they have the stiffened suspension and lsd on it but i dont think that would cause the noise im hearing. could it be the u joints are wore out or maybe the rear end i going out, if anyone has any advice let me know. by the way im not a noob when it comes to z's as i currently have a 87 n/a

the shiro got the viscous so no moving parts to wear or make noises, it could be a number of things, diff mount, cv joints, u joint, trans mount, crossmember bushings, trailing arm bushings, you're just gonna have to get under there and have a look but I doubt it's anything serious, the r200 is pretty stout and not a typical source of issue, and most of these parts are availble and fairly cheap although most are also a major pita to replace
