1986 Nissan 720 stalling issue

Hello - I am new to this site but very glad to see that the Nissan 720's though old are not forgotten! My 1986 CA car with no air starts fine but stalls after approaching the first stop sign. Once its warmed up no problem. Could anyone help me with this? Also looking for documentation on the Hitachi carbs on our trucks - exactly where is the fuel mixture screw?
