What have you concluded about the mounting points for the SR20 block? I think that may be the route I would go if I pick up this S110. Though, I am new to this whole modifying-cars thing, so I was wondering how you'd go about it? (i.e., using parts from a S13, etc.)
from what I can tell and what I have measured the mounts look to be the same....good thing about nissan is they have sticked with what works over the years

anyone put an aftermarket wheel in the s110....I am wondering if you know what hub adapter will work....I was thinking maybe the s13....but I wasn't sure....I am about to be in the middle of my swap and my stock wheel is all kinds of busted so I ordered another one.....but I don't think the grant kit is going to work with it....which seems to be the only thing they make for it....I didn't know if anyone knew if there was something interchangeable

oh wow dude I am jealous that is freakin awesome...there were only a limited number of those produced....they were going to orginally streamline them and make convertibles but datsun had so many problems with it that they handed it off to an outside company and sent them a few to make convertibles....but they are super rare.....great find!! and as far as the filter it should be the same as the 81+ all have the z22ee

Wow,

I'm impressed with this site and I hope it continues to grow. My first car was a 1977 200SX that I bought in 78. That car was balls to the wall. I used to do donuts on dry pavement. Not too smart but when you're 17 you do things that are not smart. Anyway, I ended up totaling the car and joined the military in 81. I ended up buying a 80 200SX (manufactured date 9/79) and believe or not I haven't been able to part with it. I don't drive it much but definitely come in handy since I don't have a truck. Anyway, here's a couple of pics I took after I detailed it using my PC dual action polisher I had just purchased in Jan of this year (2008). It has some rust spots here and there but I'm thinking of making it one of my projects to take on in 2009 to restore. I had it repainted in 88 basically restoring it to show room condition however I didn't have the rust I have now. The car's engine has never been touched and it cranks with no problem. However, after 250,000+ miles it is due for an overhaul. Hope you enjoy the pics. IMG][/IM[IMG][IMG][/IMG]http://i400.photobucket.com/albums/pp90 ... C01035.jpg[/IMG]G][IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG]

i would point you toward club-s12.org if you are looking at parts or help as nico does not have many s110s or s12s around.

you may try oem-surplus.com as well they may have the fenders.

Sorry to steal this post but I have a '71 510 wagon that I currently run a '80 200sx rear axle in. It has developed a whiring sound that I suspect is either a wheel bearing or pinion bearing. Before I tear into it I am checking to see what a full rear end would cost. It anyone on this list is selling please contract me

hey friend...may be you can speak spanish, but it doesn't matter, look I want to know where did you find the bumpers for your sakura. I have one and I got out from the body paint, mines is silver, but my bumpers are a little ugly, so if you could give me some information about places where I can find pieces to restore my little car I'll apreciate a lot.

I can say that sakura was my first car too and like you said, may be is not a powerful machine but I smoked Tsurus, chevys and some jettas only with my stock '86 car even a J18 too. greetings and I hope you can help me with some information...thanks.

I thought I'd join this thread as I own a 240RS and a s110 200sx. I'm in the UK and as these models were not widely sold here so I'm keen to establish links with current owners. Spares are a problem!Really pleased to hear that enthusiasts are keeping these cars alive!Tom

Hi all, why doesn't the 200sx have its own section I'd love to see threads all organized in one place.

Me and some friends of mine picked up a 1981 200sx for a LeMons race we're doing, and we may have some parts for sale when we strip it. I'll try to keep this updated, but a whole section for 200sx would help!!

Here's pics!High quality video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hKL3R55ocHE&fmt=22

Pics will do more talking:

right now, the Classic S chassis cars don't have a good forum on here BUT...it could very well change soon.

it's mainly due to a lower number of owners on the site...good luck with the car though.

I really don't care for the NAP-Z motors...if this wasn't such a budget based build, I'd totally recommend ditching the Z series in it.

Why ditch the Z engine? Didn't it perform better than the one in other models?

I have a 1982 200SX - S110I love the car a lot but unfortunately it's taken a back seat to my Z32. It's my first car and I've done a bunch of crazy things to it. I'm currently not driving it but I hope to get back behind the wheel in the next year or so. I will be toning down the body kit significantly when I start driving it again.

Check out my cardomain profilehttp://www.cardomain.com/ride/636526

Hey are any of you 200sx guys running this type of rim on your cars? These came on some 1980 sx's. I'm looking at a set right not but wondering what type of lug nuts I would need to run a set on my '80 Datsun 510.
