Hey All,
My truck does not start. Battery and starter OK and plenty of gas in tank.
It does not smell like the carb is flooding. I'm thinking timing may be off?
Don't really know how to set it though. Any suggestions welcomed.

i have ran into it if you do not have spark it it is the black box on the side of your distributor. if you do have spark then you're assumption may be correct about your timing being off. how many miles is a have if it don't have that many I don't think your chain could be stretched that bad... check all the little things cap rotor plugs wires I would start there

If it doesn't turn over, how do you know the starter is good? How do you check for spark if it doesn't turn over? I tend to think that it actually does turn over, but doesn't start.
