We just wrapped up the initial installments of an article series on our good friend Stuart's widebody Z project - Check it out and tell him what you think!

The Banzai Runner 280Z build series

Maybe I can get Stu to pop in here and answer some questions (or just share some more info from his experiences building the Z).

Hi guys,

just a small update on the continuing transformation of the car. I've been busy prepping the car to get ready for JCCS-2015 in September. Spent all weekend stripping it down to the metal getting ready for paint prep using a pro-grade 3M stripper wheel. The picture of the hood was taken during the day, the rest of the pictures were taking as the sun was setting so it doesnt look bare metal. The color I am after is pretty expensive for some reason, I think its made from Unicorn blood, its about that color too.

When I goto paint, Ill be taking everything off and sanding in the tight spots I still need to hit with the paint stripper. So far so good.
