I've owned this 620 Kingcab for 34 years. It's burning about a quart of oil every 500 miles or so but runs great. I called a place in the Seattle area to see what an engine rebuild would cost. The guy said $6000. The work is more than my expertise so sadly I'm going to have to part ways with the truck unless I can figure a cheaper option. Is that really how much it costs for a professional rebuild? I realize that doesn't include having the engine pulled.

I have rust and a bad driver's floor but this has been a fun vehicle to own. I had it painted by Maaco in 2013 to restore it to the original color. This is a fairly recent picture.

Im sorry, I thought your ad stated you might have to part ways because of high cost for motor work
