Hi I am woundering if i should buy a little bit rusty 1972 Datsun B110does anybody know something about this car?I need some info about the car and the Engine.

that is an awesome car.there is HEAPS and HEAPS of info on these on the web.Its called a Datsun 1200 over here. 2 door sedans like that one are very rare over these ways too.

they came standard with the A12 engine ( 1200cc pushrod motor ). and Im pretty sure it was NZ only that got SSS models.

Does anyone have a good Site for Parts and stuff for an B110/1200.I`m in Norway so I have to get the parts shiped here!

well, if I were you, then Id buy it!they are my next choice of car over the P510 (1600).You wouldnt WANT to put a 260Z engine in it!I have a mate here in NZ with a CA18DET (4cyl) in his, and that takes up most of the room in the engine bay.You can fit a SR20DET in them, but they are a bit more tight fit.putting ANY 6cyl motor in a B110 would be pretty difficult, and youd have to chop the firewall back quite a bit, and then youd have your gearstick lever almost in the back seat.

I dunno what 980$ means in NZ currency, but a 2 door like that would probably go for around $2000NZ ( about $1200US ??? ) in NZ

Oh yeah, and one cool thing is, that the ute version of the 1200 is STILL being built today in South America ( or South Africa, I cant remember ), which means you can still buy BRAND new front gaurds e.t.c. for them reasonably cheap.

$980US.it`s a bit of Rust but i can weld it.I think I will buy it and maybe put a CA18DET in it.it`s going to take a while Restoring it.I have Two other Datsun Projects going :pmy 1979 280ZX 2+2and me and my father`s 1973 240Z.so I want to know if it`s woth it?

well, my opinion would be to ditch the 280ZX and buy the B110 if you'd prefer to have only 2 cars.definately dont get rid of the 240Z tho, those things are worth heaps! ( about $12000-13000 NZ in good tidy condition ).There are heaps of 280ZX's in NZ, and you can buy them real cheap.

I got my 1970 P510, and hopefully in the next week, I will be buying a KP510 ( P510 coupe....very rare! ).

well I wont sell the 240Zbut I dont want to sell the 280ZX.I love the Z cars the most so I will keep it but that dosent mean I wont buy the B110.The 280ZX is soon Finished so there is not much to do on that car.and the 240Z need`s a Paint job and a new Clutch and of course new wheel`sso i gues i have time for one more Car.

hi i was juxt cruising by the page and i was wandering if you actually bought that car. I live in the United States and I also have a 71' B110. I going to put in a ka24de motor in there. But i was wandering if u have any ideas about the back differential or rear end swap.

No dident buy it I have enought with my ZX!.I am using all of my money on the 280ZX now. I want to get it in 100% good shape :p.
