1964 L320, changing a window handle

Most of you probably don't need to see this but I thought it would make a neat little thread

Here is a pic of the window handle on the driver side and the replacement which was in the package tray of the truck when i bought it. Now that I have the brakes working and I started driving the truck, it is time to fix this little problem

Here are the tools i have selected, you don't need the clip removing tool for its normal function, it just happened to be the right size to push on the spring loaded collar which retains the pin, I put some tape on it to make shure I didn't scratch anything

I used the clip removing tool to push back spring loaded collar to expose the pin which holds the handle on

Once the pin is exposed I used an allen driver to push it down, if not rusted it should slide out easy, then the old handle should slip off shaft

I put the replacement handle on and push pin back in

Done, no more fumbling with the window handle!
