Check out the 69-74 assembly

I thought so too, but they're actually rectangular. :(

How much begging would I have to do for you to allow me to scan that for addition to www.datsunservicemanual.com?

He could try Toyotaminis.com. Its a forum for smaller toyota trucks. A lot of older Hilux owners on that forum.

I will see If I can scan it. I collect Toyota car manuals but got lucky and found this one.

I'll point him that way... He's a hell of a fabricator / restorer, but terrible and hunting down rare parts!

:dblthumb: Much appreciated. I'd offer to do it, with compensation for insured shipping both ways (and some sort of deposit to ensure its safe return). :)

Do you copy manuals on a regular basis without taking them apart?

Gentlemen,

I would greatly appreciate a heads up if this does get posted to the Datsun FSM. I'd be curious to see the suspension schematic of the Prince. I'm thinking they may be close to the MG/Riley sedans of the time as I just gave my brother some Datsun suspension bushings for his Magnette. Heading down in a couple of weeks to take a look at the Magnette and see what other Datsun suspension parts may work.

Any word on where this Prince might be?

I just might give Walt a call.

Andy

I do - It depends on how they're bound. If it's too stiff to open fully, I'll defer to a pro.

I have some manuals that simply won't ever get scanned, because opening them all the way (even 90-degrees) would damage the binding.

The gentleman who owns autolit.ca owns it. I believe it is in the northeastern US, maybe NY?

He sold it to somebody in California and Bought the oldest Cedric in the United States. According to early Datsun they imported 236 Cedrics. This is just as rare as the Prince.

A few tools from the workshop manual are missing but Its hard to tell what was supposed to be included in this kit. I really wish I had the car now.
