18"x8"wheels - Thoughts?

After reading the Wheel and Tire Database thread:

What are people's thoughts on 18"x8" wheels? I've been eyeing the Motegi SP10 and the only 18" option is 8" in width.



What tire size would you guys recommend? As like many owners here, my Versa is lowered with Tanabe springs and I'd like for it not to rub, even on a full turn.

I have a funny feeling that it will be too wide for Versa...

The 1.8L motor isn't exactly a powerhouse of brute force. Why would you want to make it wheez even more by increasing rotational mass? I'd go with 17x7 at the most. Best compromise between looks and functionality.

I'm pretty sure 7.5 is the widest you are gonna get. I have 18's and I wouldn't recommend them because the ride is rough. Also keep an eye on your offset. +42 appears to be the max offset on the wheels for no rub without any spacers.
