17" wheels on 2006 350Z

My 2006 350Z came with 18" wheels. I'd like to get a second set of wheels for winter (please don't flame me for this...), and I'd prefer 17" wheels. A few questions:1. will 17" wheels from earlier 350Z (2003-2005) fit properly?2. anybody has done it?3. will TPMS work OK? I don't know how TPMS works, and based on wikipedia there are several designs, and which one is implemented by Nissan?4. any other reasons not to do it?5. I've seen 350Z with 20" wheels, so interchanging sizes of wheels probably doesn't mess up the TPMS, but maybe a reprogramming of the system is needed?thanks.

yes they will fit.TPMS should work I dont believe it is different betwween the earlier models.No reason not if you have them.The diameter of the tire that will be on the 17" wheels should be the same diameter of the 18"s you have already so it should be ok.Lastly please post a new thread with a pic of your Z Thanks.And welcome to NICO.

just to be sure before buying: anybody could comment if he/she needed to do anything special in order to use TPMS when going from 18" to 19" wheels? (this should be in a way similar to what I'm planning).
