155hp for $190 a good deal?

HA ha, got ya! seriously tho, I have an 89 coupe with a blown KA24E (0hp) and I picked up a 92 KA24DE (155hp) complete from cut-off-driveshaft to cooling fan, with all electrics and a harness for $150 plus $40 in gas to pick it up. SR leftover.

have a few questions tho, and yes I have searched and read about 25 old threads.

1. the tach will not work, I know. what about the other gauges, mainly the oil pressure light and the temp gauge and speedometer?

2. does anyone know of a manual steering rack that will fit in the S13 chassis? like maybe a S12 or S130? I know i need ps lines for the DOHC swap or just bend my SOHC ones, but I would really prefer manual steering. the car is already a base model. no AC! light weight

3. a few wires near the ECU are cut, guy said they were speed limiter wires. Is there an online wiring diagram or perhaps a color coded key so I can find out if he cut anything important?

thanks in advance

p.s. the CA thing is still in progress, I just need a car to drive right now, lol

p.p.s. I just put a 90 240sx SOHC into a 91 4 X 4 pickup, for my step dad. that was fun. actually that sucked. they are *almost* the same motor, lol.

I try not to hang out at anything associated with tintmasters. when someone tells me that they are waiting on a JDM hood hinge for their acura, they have some serious issues. And most of the time, they don't know thier *** from a hole in the ground when it comes to actual performance modifications. Especially when it comes to nissan. THere is an SR20 coupe in town? didn't know that.

I have 2 engines worth of parts for KAE''s as long as you dont need bottom ends. blown rods, right thru the blocks on both. both were stock. May have a wiring harness and computer, and a transmission laying about as well. E-mail me, I will be working in my garage all day tomorrow on the DOHC swap.
