I bought a 2011 Versa last month and I really hate the lack of 12v Power Outlets. I'm a Brit living in Virginia and I hope that the Versa over there has the same interior as mine - if not please ignore me and I'll go away!

Anyway, I found this on EBay -http://www.ebay.com/itm/Car-Charger-Pow ... 4cfc0c1523 there are loads of them, mainly in Hong Kong and I know that they'll ship to the UK.

It fits exactly (and I mean exactly) into the oblong hole behind the handbrake and will give you three 12v holes and one USB. I didn't actually buy it for this application - I lengthened the cable and installed into the little compartment above the radio - I removed the panel around the radio, made a decent sized hole in the back of it and the power outlet wedges nicely right at the back. I now have my GPS routed under the dash and into this cubby hole and you can't see the cable at all.

I'm ordering another one to put in the hole behind the handbrake and that'll give me 5 12v holes and two USB - more than I'll ever need I'd have thought. I'm not a seller on EBay in case you're wondering - just felt I had to pass this tip on. It actually cost me $5 delivered which is a hell of a deal for something so useful.

Not sure the pics are showing up - it's odd because I can see them on the preview. Please let me know if you'can't see them.

Wow, the fit is perfect, and slightly off topic, but what dash kit is that? The dash kit I used is JUNK and it looks like garbage, so I'd like to know what kind you have, it looks a lot better.

This is the one that you see in the picture - looks like the brand is METRA. http://www.ebay.com/itm/140626222698?ss ... 1439.l2649

It was dead easy to install once I'd wrapped my head around the concept - this was my first ever radio installation. I believe that you can buy the kit from the same company without the wiring harness and antenna adapter so it would be cheaper. It does match the car pretty well and I am very pleased with it.

It would be sweet if that radio had a door over it similar to the storage bin on top!

That looks awesome, like it was made for the V!
