was wondering if anyone else noticed a rough clicky shift into a gear with their gearbox?? i noticed my 2nd gear is the roughest, all the other gears are a little smoother. any ideas on how to fix this?

P.s. i only notice this when its first start up, once engine is warmed up and such the problem goes away.

Nothing yet but only have 5400 miles. Its sounding like your synchros are not doing their job. Take it to the dealer.

1st to 2nd is the largest jump in gear ratio and is often the roughest on any vehicle. It possible there is an issue however. The only way to know if to drive another MT Versa.

Has is gotten worse since you bought it? Are you getting the clutch pedal most of the way in before moving the lever and waiting to release the clutch until after it's in gear engaged. With the RPM's hanging form the electronic throttle, you defintely need the clutch since the RPM's are sometiems a little high for it to slide into gear smoothly clutchless.

Mine seems to have the same problem sometimes. Does it matter in the long run?
