i think it should have been a little closer of a race considering that a STOCK 2001 GT Mustang stick shift does 13.9 in the 1/4 mile and the stick shift 3.5se A/C does 14.2... maybe he was a bad driver? a lot of people get stick shift because it's faster BUT it's only faster if you know how to race it right... but nice vid man. good to see another dark slate tearing it up lol

those are both paper times and both cars are both far away from stock. road and track times are pretty much out the window when you make major modifications, and yes driver skill plays a roll but........

Did anyone notice that there was someone in the passenger seat? An extra 200lbs can make a big difference in 1/4 mile times.

There is no way a Altima coupe could walk a Stang GT with some mods that bad. He beat him by like 10 car lengths, which would be almost a second diff in the 1/4 mile. It does say Artisan in the title, so it's got to have something under the hood. Based on the start those 2 had, the Stang should have at least kept the Alti in his sights. That was a total beat down, which i am glad to see since i despise all Ford's, especially Mustangs, with a passion.

Being realistic though, there is something going on.

10 car lengths? you mean the length of the TRACK? LOL its clearly not a 1/4 mile. they take off 9 seconds into the vid, and they both let off at 19-20 seconds into the vid.

Mustang sounded like it doesn't rev up very fast. Is that normal? I'm a mustang h8er so i wouldn't know
