Are you trying to eliminate the mechanism that allows you to do high rpm clutch dumps?

I think there's a factory service manual floating around the net if you are so inclined. It might have the info you need.

Btw it says Sentra 2.0 in your profile. How did you get a 6 speed with that? I thought 2.0 only came with CVTs. Or do you Americans have a different line up then us? Whoops my bad got it all mixed up. You can get a 6 speed!

Well actually the 6 speed is now discontinued for 08 since most people in the US prefer automatics (lazy asses), about the factory service manual you mentioned I would appreciate it very much if you have some info on the clutch safety switch because it`s driving me nuts trying to find it, thanks.

I didn`t find anything on thevboard.com , I also went to a couple of dealers and none of them were able to help me or just wanted me to pay them to do it , I`ll be dammed if I pay someone to do this because if a dealer advertises remote starters that means it could be done, thanks for your help and if anybody out there has more info on how to bypass the CLUTCH SAFETY SWITCH on the 07 Sentra I would gladly appreciate your help, thanks.

hey bundy try asking the shop where you bought the remote starter to get you an answer. if they sold it, they should know how to install it, even if you don't let them do the install make them think they are going to.

also, on your MT have you had any problems shifting from 1-2 while the engine and transmission are cold? i get this notchy/grinding shift sound between those two gears until the car warms up a little bit and i'm wondering if its a production issue or just my car. thanks.

I saw that in your other post and actually it is normal(I don`t know why but it is),Had the same problem with my 04 Spec V ,went to the dealer once and they said it was normal, once the car warmed up that noise was gone ,so I wouldn`t worry about it and enjoy that sweet Spec V.
