Hey everyone, I'm new to the board but not to Infiniti. I used to have a '96 J30 until it gave me too many problems to keep up with. I currently have an S60R that I got a great lease deal on, but that will be ending by May. That said I'm in the market for a new car and am looking at the '07 G coupes since they are great cars (from what I hear and have felt from test drives) and have some great prices since the new model is debuting in June. I am also going to be moving soon so that is why I can't hold out for/afford the new '08. I love the way it drives and drives much better then the R that I have now.

What should I be looking to pay in terms of a standard lease (36~39 months, 12K mi a yr) for an '07 coupe? Are there any major problem areas to look out for or be aware of? Thanks in advance for your help!

That's a great deal. I am in Holmdel, which is 114 off the parkway if you're familiar with it at all. I have been going to circle Infiniti in West Long Branch. My family has gotten a few cars from them so hopefully that will help my situation too.

So I'm guessing not many people lease their G's then?

Leasing isn't a good fiscal decision...but if you must lease, the G35 has a high resale value. This makes it a good candidate for leasing.

Unfortunately, I am in that position where I must lease. The finance payments would be too much at this particular point and I wasn't looking to purchase it at this point given that the new car is just around the corner. I wish I could hold out a little longer and buy the new one but there isn't much chance so I'll take what I can get and this wouldn't be a bad situation anyway. I was just curious to see what others went for and to make sure that I wasn't going to be getting hosed.

Leasing is a perfectly fine financial decision and very optimal for many. Why own a depreciating asset, unless you are into mods and all that stuff...

We get a lower payment, a new car every 2 to 3 years and never pay for mechanical repairs...

I am a small business owner, however I dont write off the payment, I use the milage deductions usually...(this year .48/mile)

I will be leasing this car or an IS350 shortly... whoever wants to play hardball, I'll be walking out of their dealership.
