'07 35 waiting time :/

HI ALL new nissan/infiniti owner here.

i purchased my 07 g35x red last weekend 3/4 BUT they told me that theres a wait of up to 90 days for it. its been a week and i still havent heard anything from them. i called and they said their looking and there isnt any in the US right now so its going to have to be ordered from japan. grrrr. idn if i can believe that.

how long have you guys been waiting for yours to come in?and also i read in some forums that they give u rentals and even another g to take home over night or w.e well im up in CT and havent heard of such thing.

howd you guys end up getting your rentals asking for them or the dealer offer? cuz if they did offer then i got shafted and still waiting for my ride. thanks guys.

Hmmm...I got an 05 just as the 06's were coming in...so I had no waiting time. It's probably legit though..a slaes rep isn't going to lie to you and make you wait...he wants his commission!

I am still waiting for my g35x which I ordered on 3/8. I ordered black on black and they told me that it was going to be coming in from Japan by the end of the month. I didn't hear anything about a rental though. By the way, i'm in NJ so its not like it would take that much longer to get the car to you in CT.

I checked the 3 dealerships in Northern Virginia and 2 had them in red. All with wheat interior. (3 g35X's total)

One had Prem, Nav, TechAnother had Prem and Nav

Also found some Black on Black G35's down here.

In case you feel like a drive. . .

I bought mine same day, Sport 6MT, Black w/ Grey interior, prem, nav, tech, active steer.

There's dozens of G35x's in the dealers around here.

I'l post pics after I tint the windows.

Yeah, there are nothing but Xs down here! Its tough finding a non-X, especially if you want Nav! I got lucky, another local dealer had mine on the lot, so they pulled the transfer, I had to wait until almost 10pm to actually drive it off the lot though, I beat it to there...

it depends on the exact situation bro

as for me, i ordered it, and the dealership placed a build order to the factoryand that takes about 3 months from the following 1st of the month(the factory only takes new build orders in the beginning of the month)

but if your dealer can locate the car you want on another dealers lotthey can try to trade one of their inventory cars for that and that would prob take a matter of weeks for delivery

also, if your dealer finds the car you want currently in transit from the factorythey can again negotiate with that cars destination dealer to get itand that could take a couple of weeks because of unloading the boat and getting sorted on the dock and delivery

those were all the scenarios i was given when my dealer tried to look for the car i wanted before we went with the option of getting one builtwhich is the worst option only because it takes the longest

THANKS yaa theres none fully loaded with my color interior out there, so like you said im waiting it out the longest way 3 months/90 days and order was placed for one from the factory in JP.
