05 G35 Coupe Replacing upper storage cubby with audio unit

Good day..

I was wondering if anyone has ever replaced the upper storage cubby on a G35 (non nav) with a after market audio unit and touch screen? To put the screen higher in the dash for better nav.. I'm thinking a modular unit or a unit with a single DIN chassis would work. The radio / nav unit would be in red in the picture below, and the green would be a storage cubby.. Or a Double DIN storage cubby, keeping the ash tray and such.. Anybody have some pictures of this??
