(did a search on fuel filter but only found 1 hit re: Maxima)

I have an 04 Premium Q and it is time to do a fuel filter change... how hard is this to do? I can do basic stuff like oil changes, but if it is much more difficult than that, I guess it will have to go to the dealer. Is the line pressurized? Is there somewhere I can find step-by-step (idiot-proof!) directions, maybe even with pics? Where is it located?

Also, I d/l-ed a free sm about a year ago but can't find it now... can someone direct me to one?

Thanks in advance.

TSB and FSM at http://www.nissan-techinfo.com/infiniti/

Never found the fuel filter in my search of the 2003 FSM.

Yep, the fuel line is pressureized. Difficult for injectors to work without it.

I bet you are right. I glossed over fuel pump assembly, but I bet if I study it, the filter is located wth the pump.
