Post

Hello,

This is my first Blog, I just purchased an '04 350Z Touring, 6 speed, flu down to LA drove it back home yesterday, about 500 miles covered . During the trip the Tire pressure sensor warning light came on about 40 miles into the trip. Pulled off I-5 and one of the 4 tires was about 32 psi, this was the lowest of the 4, bumped it up to about 40 psi, as were the others. Remember just bought the used car 2 hours earlier. When I started the car, the warning light was off, told my wife great? Hope the rear rt. tire doesn't have a slow leak, as Sunday night on I-5 with a leaky Rt. rear tire was a bit concerning. Now, 25 miles into the second start, up on the Grape vine , mind you, the Tire Pressure warning light came on again. Of course I was getting more concerned now, stopped in Gorman, checked the tire pressure and all tires were right where I left them 25 miles back. By the way, as soon as I re-started the car the warniing light was off again. Something is timing out or producing a false failure in the system.

Best part of the story is the tires were fine, got home OK and wife wasn't pissed.

OK, sorry for the Loooong winded message.

Can anyone tell me, if they have had trouble with their Tire Pressure monitoring system in their 350Z and what the issue was and what it will take to fix the problem?

Thanks in Advance,

Zshar
