03 Murano SL awd, ~70k miles, getting CV sounding noise from rear when making slow, hard right or left turns. All joint boots in rear are clean w/no tears; CV boots in front are clean, w/no tears. Any suggestions on what noise is?

On some Nissans, Quests especially, the "clicking" noise would come from where the axle meets the back side of the hub. The fix is to take the axle nut loose, pull back on the axle and try to sneak some grease on the face of the axle. I've found that alot of times you can just snug the axle nut down a little tighter and the noise goes away. Hopefully this helps.

hey i have seen that one, unfortunately it might not be cheap i hope you still have warranty left. crawl under the rear of vehicle and unplug the connector going into the rear differential....then drive vehicle the way you would to make noise happen. if it is gone then the electronic clutch in rear end is bad and needs to be replaced....oh yeah you will get some lights on in dash.AWD.SLIPand maybe some others it wont hurt anything, and im pretty sure they will go away after plugging the connector back in. anyways good luck
