'02 XE Front Speaker options - Component?

So I'm looking to get some better speakers for my '02, and I'm personally a die-hard Infinity fan so I'm looking at these http://www.hookedontronics.com...020cs.

My question is:1) Will the 6 1/2" mids fit in the door?2) Where's a good spot to mount the tweeters?3) Will the crossover fit down in the door/panel somewhere?

I HAVE AN 05 AND I HAD TO GET SPACERS FOR MY DOOR SPEAKERS CAUSE THE MAGNETS HIT THE WINDOW WHEN IT GOES DOWN.

check cruchfield.com they have diagrams for specific cars that tell you what your speaker size and mounting depth is.

Well anyway, crutchfield fitting is pretty decent.. but use some common sense. It has told me some crazy-obviously wrong information before.

Between weather stripping and penny rubber grommets from a hardware store you can space things tightly and securely, as long as the holes line up.

I would go with the componet speakers, they may cost a little more and require a little bit of modding but they sound alot better if installed correctly. Iv heard that you should mount the tweeters within a foot of the woofer for good sound quality. The 6.5 should fit you may need a spacer so they dont hit the window. If you cant find anyware to put the cross over in the door you can put it in the kick pannel. One thing before you install anything put your window down and measure the clearance it'll save you a headache later.
