02 max , worth buying???
02 max , worth buying???
So I've been in the market to purchase an 02/03 Maxima with a 6 speed. I found an 02 with an SE trim, 189k miles(I know its high) , clean body, clean title BUT he said 6th gear "pops out" now I got the price down to 3,500, it was originally 4,500. Is it worth buying ??? Btw, its dark slate with clean black leather interior (missing the front headrests)

If it's in good condition otherwise and has been maintained well, I'd buy it. I wouldn't be too concerned about the mileage, if it's been well cared for. It is high for an '02, but it's also a Maxima, so it has some life still left in it too. I'd personally try to push him down some more on it, maybe closer to $3,000, but that's just me. Good luck!
