I've read and searched for this issue but haven't found anything on it so I'm hoping someone has some insight. My mom has the car and has paid the Nissan dealership $400 and the issue hasn't been fixed. I'm getting different stories depending on who I talk to there. One guy said it was a rear wheel sensor, the next guy said it was a the switch on the steering wheel, and after replacing both of those her cruise control still doesn't work. So they basically took her money and nothing still works.

I've looked through the FSM but it doesn't really say anything on it...it just lists the components on that area involved. They are now telling her that the ECM is the problem and that it's $1100 so I promptly said :bs: and am now on the job and could use some help...

The cruise won't engage the light comes on but won't engage.

Was this a Nissan dealership doing the repairs? If Nissan was doing "Hail Mary" parts installations which did not fix the problem then I would have a huge issue with paying them.

Have they checked the ASCD system?
