'01 Max with Bose..... I want an aftermarket head unit... Please help!!!

I really wanna change my factory head unit out for an aftermarket and I'm thinking about paying a good bit of money for it but here ar my questions......

Will the factory amp/speakers work with the new set-up?

If so, is their any way that the steering wheel controls can work with it?

Has anyone ever replaced the factory sub with a 6.5in mid-bass or heard one b/c I'm thinking about getting one?

I really don't want to have to replace all the speakers right now..... that's just alot of money that I'm not ready to spend yet.

you will need to have the adaptors for the new radio for the bose system. if you want to use the steering wheel controls, you will have to spenda bit more $$$ for that.

it is funny that you ask, but i have a harness from my 01 gle that had bose i can sell if you want. i am a newb here but a long time member on an acura website.

i can check to see what harness i have for this
