ummm what? The piston did not get pushed into your head. You just need to rebuild your heads or go pull some heads off of a mercury villager, nissan quest, early 90's maxima, 93- up nissan pathfinder. The engine in your vehicle is barely an interference engine, the nissan quest and mercury villagers are non interferrence vg33's because of a deeper valve relief cut into the pistons. You've bent your valves and they need to be replaced or you can just go pull the heads off the above mentioned vehicles. peace.

These engines are identical from 99-04. They can't be that hard to find.

Look for Xterras or Frontiers.

The '98 4 banger in my truck was replaced with a $600 JY engine that came complete with the fuel system and only about 20k miles.

Most wrecking yards have hotline service. Granted, these trucks are a lot more common out west, but you shoudl be able to find one. How many miles were on your truck? The timing belt service interval is 105k miles.
