Well, the rain stopped for a few hours today, so I thought I'd go play. I did some timing to see how my car performed. The roads were still kinda damp, so it was frustrating. I couldn't launch hard enough to transfer much weight to the rear without spinning. My last 0-60 pull landed on 7.7 sec. after the road had gotten fairly dry. Most were in the 8.8-9.0 range. Keep in mind this was in less than ideal conditions, no LSD, and me holding the stopwatch while trying to drive. What should I expect from my stock S13 w/ 5-speed? Also, the weather hasn't been great, so I haven't gotten to practice launching my car. I need to get some practice for the BG meet. Any tips to pass along? Thanks!

i always thought our cars were 8 second 0-60 stock?? if they're 8 seconds...then you're doing a very good job.

I also haven't gotten to experiment w/ shift points. I know peak horsepower for the KA24DE is at 5800 rpm, but if I wait until redline in 2nd, I'm at 60, saving a shift. Might be be better to shift sooner in the 1320, though.
