Hey, sorry if this has been covered. I tried searching and... well the new search function sucks

Anyway, check this out:http://arb.ca.gov/msprog/after...1.pdf

Was just browsing for any updates and stumbled upon that. It says it was approved in 92' though, yet this is the first time I'm seeing this. Also--I can't seem to find any other info on it on the web, including the official Kenne Bell site which seems to only have Supercharger Kits now.

What's most interesting is, it looks like there is no fuel management whatsoever, besides bigger injectors. Not even an ECU retune!

Granted the kit is limited to 8psi... still, it's legal for those of us in Cali!

Any thoughts or other info? I didn't find anything on this kit at ka-t.org either. I'm thinking if it's no longer available, we could just piece together our own using the parts specified in the EO...

WTH is it only for '91-'92? Why not the other two years with identical engines? They are identical, right?

quite interesting!!!I think that 91 engines are "dirtier" than KA24DE of the following years because their cam profiles.I wonder what Kenne is up to?

back in 92, back when kennebell was known for turbochargers, not superchargers(yes, kenne bell used to use turbochargers back in the day)

Well, I guess that explains why '93-'94 aren't included . I thought the cam profiles were the same for the s13 KA24DE's, and changed for the s14 because of intake mani changes.

yes s13 cam profiles are all the same. 91 profiles being more 'hot' is a myth! GET IT PEOPLE!

kenne-bell turned to do twin-screw superchargers instead.(they had 1 for a miata too, but believe to have stopped production)
