I have had my Red 1997 240sx SE s14 Maual Transmission since January 10, 2001 and it is still stock. I am the second owner and I got it when it had 40,000 miles on it and it now has 148,000 miles on it. The only problems outside of regular maintenance has been to replace an Air Conditioning line due to a hairline crack in the stock one and back last winter I had to replace a temperature sensor to keep the car from overheating. I have been using synthetic Mobil One oil since 75,000 miles and I only give the car 92 or 93 Octane gas.I purchased a Ruby Pearl 1995 240sx (Base) S14 Automatic Transmission on December 5, 2008. That car had 151,000 miles on it and I am the third owner of this car. I had to immediately take it to have a new timing chain installed as the original was making the rattle up top under the valve cover. I bought a new power antenna for the car as the original was not working. This 1995 is my project car and I want to eventually add a Turbo, Keyless entry and Keyless start. I started my upgrades with a Headlight Stalk from an "SE" because Navan Fog Lights have been added. I have also since added KSport Coilovers, Five Lug conversion, Z32 Front Brakes and Lines, Z32 7/8 Brake Master Cylinder, New Steering Rack with Nismo Bushings, and 350Z 17" Enthusiast Wheels. The car has gone through a complete Navan conversion and repaint. I want to give as many Nismo parts I can to both cars. I would also like to convert this Zenki from an Automatic to a Manual Transmission. I am here to learn from this group on some techniques on DIY methods along with resources for finding what I need to make all of this happen. Thanks to all for reading!
