SSautochrome exhaust review

I got my SSautochrome exhaust today. It shipped the same day I won the auction and I got it exactly one week later. I have to say, really nice welds, full stainless steel, and it came with all the gaskets I needed plus a bunch of extra bolts and a silencer. Exhaust hangers all fit in the stock locations and it bolts right onto your stock cat. They even gave me an extra 3 bolt exhaust gasket which I didn't need. Well on for the pics and the movie of how it sounds. Oh yeah it was 223 shipped!

Looks good for the price, but you should have spent the money on some new tires

It could just be the picture but it looks like it's hanging rather low....wouldn't want to scratch up that shiny stainless steel. Also, that stack of 2x4's underneath your driver side rear tire is making me nervous just lookin' at it!!!

No it was on jackstands, I just use those to roll up on so I can get a jack under the car. Tires dont last very long with my 2 way =(

yeah getting a jack under 240's is kinda hard.... i hate working under jack stands and stuff. at least you don't go through tire (singular) like me.. i have an open diff. hopefully not for too long though.

is it the same as a the megan exhaust? 2.5" dp back or is the exhaust 3"? and do the hangers have bumps on the end to keep them from sliding off the rubbers?

its a 3" exhaust and its a lot different from the megan. This one is angled and has a different canister. Hangers do have bumps on them but I think I need to rework the hangers to sit higher, my car is Very low and it scrapes a Lot.

Thats what it sounds like backing a rb25, its a great exhaust for the money although ill second that it hangs a little low.

is the pipe still shiny? I bought some headers from ssautochrome when they first came out and about 50 miles later they were a nice rusty color

you can maybe bend the hangrs more on top and make it sit higher? it looks way way low, like people said...lAmazing for the price though... I don't like canister looking muffler, so I could weld my own onto that if I ever got it.
