Hey guys, what heater hoses did you use for your rb26dett into s14 swap. Wondering if the rb26dett stock ones could work.

Well, I actually have a 25 in an S13, but I actually used sweated copper pipe for the main runs, and a piece of standard heater-hose at the ends. It actually came out really well. I can upload some pictures if you want.

You can find it in the plumbing section of your local hardware store. Menards had the new style 3/8 fittings with the solder already inside, Lowes did not. There is no HD here.

the 26 hoses are not a direct fit to the s14. i can't remember the sizes but you need to get those plastic step down couplers from napa and make your own

I bypassed the oil cooler and removed it when I was doing my swap. The heater hose neck behind the thermostat is already 3/4", so it goes directly to the heater core fitting with a new hose. The other fitting is attached to the rear of the block. I went to Lowe's and bought a 3/4" NPT to 3/4" barb fitting and screwed it right in. Solved it all in one hit......

BTW, S14 heater core hoses are 3/4" inner diameter.

Thanks for the responses. I ended up going to napa and mix and matched a few hoses.
