have to press gas for car to start up

I have a 2001 Maxima GLE. I have replaced ECM, ACLV, TSP and MAF. The car runs great and idles correctly with one exception...I have to press the gas for the car to start up. Once it starts, everything is fine. Has anyone every had to problem or does someone have a suggestion? Thanks.

Have you checked the fuel pressure (43 PSI with Ignition ON and engine OFF limited to 5 secs; 34 PSI with engine running) as suggested earlier by "Minister of Doom?" There is no way you can isolate the problem without doing this.

You also have to do the leak down test (fuel pressure should not drop rapidly once engine has been shut down - problem with fuel pressure regulator or check valve from fuel pump or leaking fuel injector).
