So i have been thinking about how loud the Buddy club spec II is and am concerned about daily driving with it as i do not want to get harassed about my exhaust constantly. I don't mind the way it looks and it seems to fit pretty well on most 240s (mine is still brand new in the box uninstalled in case i decide to sell it.)

Basically i am wondering how many people have gotten away with daily driving their car with this cat-back. I have also been searching for a video/sound clip of the Spec II with an SR20 and a silencer installed which i would be using on the street and remove when i got to the track.

The thing is, i would install it and run it to find out but since its brand new i would rather be able to sell it as brand new if it came down to it. IF i did happen to sell it i would be getting the buddy club spec III since it has a can it should be a bit quieter.

All feedback is honored. I'f you have pictures of it mounted on your car go ahead and post them, if you have sound/video clips go ahead and post them just to make things more fun.

Yes, this was before listening to any you-tube clips and before hearing it in person at some drift events. Silly? Why yes i think so too. However i have NO problem selling it and spending more money, i just do not want to run a system with a full size resonator nor do i want to cut it out and weld a pipe in its place.

This is the first time ill be getting my Sr running and do not want to be getting pulled over all the time, i had a Megan 2.5" Drift spec on the Ka, i ran a silencer on that and didn't ever get bothered because of it, although i do not drive around town redlining and revving at everything either. That Megan exhaust fit great and i was planning on getting the 3" that Megan makes as well but the fact that it was the same price as the Spec II made me cringe.

Also every time i look at your avatar i think its a knife lol.

BC Spec 2's on SR's aren't really THAT loud cause you got the turbo in there, quiets it down a bit. I say just throw it on and if you think it's too loud put a removable silencer in the end of it. It honestly can't be louder then my straight piped vg.

Thanks ive seen almost every one of those videos but it seems no one has a video with the spece 2 on an SR with the silencer installed.

lol yeah it wouldnt be louder than that but i want it to be subtle i would run the silencer either way if im on the street, my concern is that it may still be too loud with the silencer in. That i dont know.

I have a BC Spec II on my S14 with the KA and run it without the silencer, yeah it's loud, but if you know how to drive with it you don't even get a look in your direction. Had it on for almost 2 years, never once been stopped or even looked at, and I've been to Jersey with it and their cops are almost as tough as they are in Cali.

Oh and if I can drive on Police Academy grounds and around police depts, then you should have no problems.
