So im needing to replace these, so i got everything off the tie rods but the ball joint is still stuck onto the brakes and i cant get this off still anyone have any tips, i tried heating it up.

Another question i had was my front sway bar endlink stabilizers look pretty bad so im gonna replace them while im at it. I was wondering if i could put the new FLCA all in before installing the end links or would that not be possible

Thankss

If you are trying to remove the ball joints you are going to need a ball joint splitter(pickle fork) .You can put the end links on with the control arms in place.

Go to your local parts store and see if you can rent one.And no you don't need a special tool to install them .

Your best bet might be to remove the spindle from the car(with the ball joint still attached) and take it to a shop and get them to separate it for you.

nvm i found one for 15$ at canadian tire but still i've been trying for 30min i cant seem to get it off the brakes.... this seems impossible haha i might just ask a mechanic to come to my house

i put the pickel fork between the brakes bracket and between the bushing on the balljoint and hammer it allthe way in but noting happens i tried just completly removing the rubber bushing and doing it without it and still no luck

haha k ill just call a mechanic to come over and see what they can do pay them like 20$ to just remove it...

so if anyone ever wants to do this use a pickle fork and 10lb sledge hammer
