Just got my SR to start up. Fresh swap from Phase2. I followed all of the wiring guides I could find and I'm 99% sure I did everything right.

I thought I was just leaking boost, because I had a rough idle and couldn't really rev passed 2700. But when I checked for codes, I got 11 (CAS), 12 (MAF), 21 (Ignition Signal), 34 (knock sensor). I pulled the harness and I could swear everything is wired just fine.

Also, my car is staying on when the key is out. Any ideas on that? I noticed when I unplugged the ECU and was pulling the harness that everything was still on. How could that happen if the chassis harness was untouched throughout the entire swap?

My brain is completely shot right now. I need to get my car running by the weekend to get me to school. Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

You probably got the wiring correct, but yoru EGI relay is stuck closed, so the ECU is always powered.

You can reset it by touching a ground to the red/black (the think wire on the brown/copper plug by the front of the car). You will hear a click. This will fix the problem, but if your chassis has been beat up a bit, you will need to fix the ground that goes to the EGI relay in the fuse box.

Hope this helps.

Actually, I realized that I plugged a connector into the wrong place. (They were identical lol). That seemed to have fixed some of my problems.

Now I'm only getting code 21 and 34. The car turns off correctly now.

The knock sensor effects how it runs. Get a new one, it is the same as the KA one. I can get you a new one for a decent price if you can't find one yourself. Try resetting the ecu and see if the Ignition signal code goes away.
