Whats the widest 22" rims I can go on a M35X?

I wanted a deep lip on rims but wanted to know the widest 22" rims i can go without rubbing?

Also offset?

It all depends with the offset of the wheel - im running 255/30/22 no rubbing at all, even with 3 adults in the back.Offset approx +38mm.

I run a 22X9 with a ET+40 with no scraping. I did scrape a little with the same wheels when the offset was ET+35. I think I could have gotten away with a ET+37; 38 but the visual difference is so minimal, I didn't want to even risk it.That being said, i dont see why you couldn't go with a 22X9.5 with a ET+45 or even 22X10 with a ET+52, although that would be pushing it on the inside of the wheel.Hope this helps. check out this post I had done earlier, with weight in the back the wheel goes inside the fender with no rubbing, many tire shops will tell you to go with 245's but trust me, you will fine with 255's as long as your offset is +38mm.check this out, there is a few M's with 22's same setup.
