Auto-Seat return misses the mark on my '02 Q45

Thanks for the help in this forum, it's appreciated.

Since getting my '02 Q45 with 47K 3 weeks ago, about the only thing I've found to complain about is the automatic seat positioning.

The seat pulls back and the steering wheel lifts when the key is removed, but when the key is re-inserted, the fore-aft travel soes not return to the prior position. It always travels farther forward than the last known position. It appears that either it is getting extra pulses goind backwards, or missing pulses going forwards.

Rather than trying to troubleshoot farther, I was wondering if the passenger motor assembly was the same part number so I could just swap the two units?

Any help would be appreciated.
