If you were referring to my post, I never said that you "pushed" it on me. I said that you were giving good deals and it was a better price than a comparable ACT or Competition clutch. We all know that Enjuku has a good reputation and wouldn't lead their customers astray. I only mentioned Enjuku because I was asked what my personal experience was and I was trying to provide dates and facts of my experience.EnjukuBG wrote:We don't push spec because we were sponsored by them....we push spec because their clutches never failed on us.
First time I've heard that Spec clutch outlasted an OS Giken clutch. I have an OS Giken unit and a cousin of mine has a 4 puck sprung Spec Clutch for his MR 2. We both push our cars and I've never had an issue with my clutch. His clutch had a spring pop out on him while on the drag strip. I believe you, it's just I hear more stories about Spec clutches failing. Only thing I hate about the OS Giken clutch is that it chatters when the clutch is released. Everyone thinks something's wrong with my clutch. Also the initial cost of an OS Giken clutch/flywheel unit is a bit pricey.EnjukuBG wrote: We broke OS Giken gear sets before we came close to ruining our spec clutch. I don't have anything against ACT, or EXedy or any other brand for that matter. But I enjoyed my spec clutch.
Spring wear like that normally has something to do with input shaft movement. With those vehicles being pilotless you tend to see more and more of it happening especially over long period of time.S14toRPS13 wrote:
